Agriban Super (Chlorpyriphos 50% EC)

Technical name: Chlorpyriphos 50% EC

• Agriban Super is a non-systemic broad spectrum insecticide which kills insects by Contact, Stomach & Respiratory action. Chloropyriphos belongs to the Organophosphate chemical group of pesticides. It is in the form of emulsifiable concentrate which is easily soluble in water.

• Mode Of Action
• Agriban Super works triple action through Contact, Stomach and Fumigant. Chloropyriphos is a powerful inhibitor of an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase, which works to stop information being transferred in the form of impulses between nerve cells in the insect’s nervous system. Breakage of the impulse causes excessive excitation in the nervous system and causes unconsciousness, convulsions and paralysis in the insect, which ultimately leads to the death of the insect. This insecticide kills the insect instantly by having quick knock down action with its triple effect of 1. Contact 2. Stomach 3. Respiratory Action (As a Fumigant).

• Target Crops
• To protect the house/building from termites before or after the construction of the house/building and to protect the house/building from termites and paddy, cotton, brinjal, okra.

• Target Insects
• It is used to control paddy stem borer, leaf curler, cotton bollworm etc. along with controlling pests present in the soil like termites, white grubs and root grubs.

• Dosage
• Foliar spray 1.20 to 2.50 ml per liter of water.
• to kill termites then use 10 ml medicine per liter of water.
