• Agriban is an organophosphate broad-spectrum insecticide.

 

• Mode Of Action
• Agriban is responsible for breaking down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the nervous system of insects. By inhibiting this enzyme, Chlorpyriphos causes an accumulation of acetylcholine, leading to overstimulation of the nervous system and eventual paralysis and death of the insect.

 

• Target Crops
• Chlorpyrifos 20% EC can be used in the treatment of paddy, onion, groundnut, cabbage, cauliflower, mustard, onion, garlic, fenugreek, tobacco, gram etc.

 

• Target Insects
• Chlorpyrifos 20% EC is used to control pests like jassid, leaf roller, caterpillar, diamond back moth, white fly, stem borer, black bug.

 

• Dosage
• Foliar Spray, Soil treatment, and Seed Treatment

 

• Seed Treatment
• Wheat: 3-4 ml/kg seed
• Barley: 4-6 ml/kg seed
• Gram: 15-30 ml/kg

 

• Soil Treatment
• Wheat: 800-1000ml/Acre.
• Sugarcane: 2500ml/Acre.
• Foliar spray should be used by mixing 50 ml in 15 litres of water.
